Colossians 1:11 (NKJV)
Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy.

Patience is not something that comes easily for most people. Even just waiting on something small — like a table at a restaurant when you’ve been hungry for hours — can be frustrating. So when we have to be patient for something that holds an incredible amount of importance in our lives, we can truly understand the need for God’s strength to carry us through.

When I have a task in front of me along with a clear plan laid out to tackle it, I’m more than willing to do whatever it takes to get it done. But if the time comes when all I can do is sit and wait, that’s the most difficult part by far. It can make us feel weak and powerless. However, the truth is that being patient requires a great deal of inner strength.

If you have an area in your life where you need to show patience, remember it’s because of His glorious might that we are able to persevere. Absolutely nothing is impossible for God and we know how deeply He cares for us. It’s through our faith in His limitless power and love that we are able to choose patience over worry and fear regardless of our circumstances!
